Monrovia, IN- Sarah Beth Aubrey, Principal of leadership and management consulting firm, Aubrey Coaching & Training, LLC, and founder of Elevate Ag LLC, the Peer Innovation Network, announces the selection of Luke Lael, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, as a summer intern.

Lael, a freshman at Purdue University, is majoring in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Political Science. Although he did not grow up on a farm, he is deeply rooted in the agriculture and maintains his industry connection through the show ring by successfully exhibiting his own stock and training youth on fundamentals via clinics. “Luke’s genuine enthusiasm and pride for being a part of the future of American agriculture is so evident. He has clear goals and a willingness to learn and adapt to meet them. I’m looking forward to having him on the ACT team this year,” says Aubrey.

Lael is an active member in his NAMA Chapter and an executive member of Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow. He aims to use the knowledge acquired from these experiences in his position with ACT. “The goals Sarah and I have for this summer really lights a fire inside,” Lael shares. “The moment Sarah offered me this position I knew it was something I could not pass up. Her professional experience paired with a drive for success is the perfect combination for a mentor I desire to have.” His past internships include stints in marketing for the Lutheran Health Network where he assisted with northeast Indiana community events, developing skills in graphic design and team collaboration.

Lael will be based in the ACT headquarters, working on social media marketing, industry research, event planning, and supporting the launch of Aubrey’s next book. He can be reached at luke@sarahbethaubrey.com. For more information or to join the newsletter, ACT Like a Pro Out There, visit www.sarahbethaubrey.com.
